The Planning Supervisor supports the country by measuring, designing, implementing, training and deploying business operating plans within assigned Regions, Districts and locations. Improvement initiatives as assigned and dictated by business need. Monitors engineering processes and procedures to achieve business results. Ensures service levels, analyses current practices, aligns international operations with company objectives. This position provides engineering policy and procedure support to senior management and operational leaders.
Project management support to ensure that the projects and initiatives are planned and delivered to the outcomes.
Develop and implements project governance including project change management.
Manage a central depository of different templates and tools that are approved for effective project delivery.
Ensure compliance with project initiatives, captures, and tracks including their specific financial impact/strategic value contributions.
Effectively manage and maintain project risks and issues and following escalation procedures.
Manage potential multi-million-dollar projects including but not limited to facility and equipment moves.
Support business case modelling, analyse and make recommendations on project feasibility studies to identify the most cost-effective alternative.
Schedule tasks, deadlines, and key milestones to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. Looks for ways to mitigate resource constraints and other risks, associated with the timeline.
Effectively manages “scope creep” by building consensus about the necessity to change the original project plan.
Ensure transportation flows & operational plans are followed.
Develop Master Operating Plans to ensure operation is planned with utilized assets, staffing, network plans.
Required Education: Bachelor's or equivalent.
Preferred Experience: Broad theoretical knowledge in specialized field.
Three or more years of management experience in a related industry with a proven ability to remote teams as well as a track record of implementing strategic projects in a cross functional manner.
Demonstrates sound regulatory knowledge as they apply to the waste, healthcare and service industries.
Must have the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
