Job Description

This Management Accountant role will be responsible for the following:

• 
  The provision of timely and accurate management accounting information such as daily sales
• 
  
  Detailed analysis and understanding of costs, including driving cost reduction initiatives across the
  
  business
• 
  
  Work with teams to drive efficiencies in business data collection and usage.
• 
  
  Identifying opportunities for improvements across the businesses, and implementation thereof
• 
  
  Produce the month end accounts through to completion in line with reporting deadlines.
• 
  
  Weekly P&L review with the financial controller
• 
  
  Cost control against budgets
• 
  
  Capital project tracking
• 
  
  Weekly and monthly wages posting
• 
  
  Travel between locations as and when required
  
• 
  
  Ownership of financial transactions, forecasts and plans
  
• 
  
  Assistance with internal & external audits.
• 
  
  Cost accounting.
• 
  
  Management of Inventory and ownership of Balance Sheet accounts.
• 
  
  Capital Equipment requests and ownership of the associated accounts.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Management Accountant will have the following credentials:

• 
  Member of an Accountancy body - ACA/CIMA/ACCA or QBE
• 
  
  Experience in a manufacturing and production environment desirable due to fast-pace & stock-based nature of the accounting
• Excellent communication skills
  
• 
  
  Strong to Advanced Excel skills such as V Lookups, SUM IFs etc.
