Eventus Legal are seeking a Legal Assistant to join a multi-service, high street law firm in the Fylde Coast. Your benefits package includes 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays and extra annual leave for the Christmas closure. This is a full time, office-based position.

Role Responsibilities

The incoming Legal Assistant will be proactively supporting the Private Client team. The current vacancy is due to a retirement of the existing legal assistant. Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Audio typing including letters, emails, legal documents
  • Maintaining, updating, and archiving electronic and paper files
  • Diary management
  • Corresponding with clients and 3rdparties
  • General administration including scanning and copying

Person Specification

Applications are sought from experienced Legal Secretaries, Paralegals or Legal Administrators with experience in a professional office setting and can demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Organised with effective time management skills
  • Strong administration and IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Team player who works effectively

This is a high street law firm in a central location close to all amenities on the Fylde Coast. The team provide expert legal advice to individual and business clients across England and Wales. They have a reputation as a close-knit team who are relaxed at work and socialise together.
