Digital Marketing and Social Media Manager
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 pro rata/ £16.83 - £18.27 per hour
25-30 hours per week (to be decided at interview between hirer and worker). Can either be 5 part days or 3 full days. Mondays must be worked.

Match Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of their client based in Northampton, Brackmills. Our client is a world renowned manufacturing business with a near monopoly in their industry. Brands such as Amazon, John Lewis and Waitrose and countless other household names are their clients. This is a brand new role that’s been created to work alongside their European Head Office Marketing Department to increase brand awareness, maximise social media presence and improve all-round digital marketing output. Please note whilst you’ll work with other departments this will be a stand-alone role, which is why previous and specific experience is essential.
What your role will look like:
· Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the company's products and services.
· Maintain the company’s website in line with guidance from the Marketing Manager at HQ in Europe
· Develop and manage the company's social media accounts, including creating content, scheduling posts, and responding to customer inquiries.
· Analyse social media and website metrics to track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
· Develop and manage email marketing campaigns to engage with customers and promote the company's products and services.
· Collaborate with design and content teams to create marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and digital ads.
· Research and stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in marketing and social media.
· Monitor and manage the company's online reputation by responding to customer reviews and feedback.
· Editorial Placement.
· Maintain contact with Editors of trade journals and develop relations.
· Negotiate advertising rates.
What you’ll need to be considered for this role:
· Must have previous and recent demonstrable experience within digital marketing.
· Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Knowledge of social media platforms (such as LinkedIn) and their best practices.
· Experience with email marketing tools and techniques.
· Experience using website analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
· Excellent communication skills
