Suffolk County Council is seeking to recruit a Senior Data Analyst (Evaluation) to deliver a portfolio of strategic insights from data analysis projects across the Suffolk and North East Essex (SNEE) Integrated Care System (ICS).
If yes, this could be an exciting opportunity for you!
About the new SNEE ICS Intelligence Function
The SNEE ICS has a diverse and talented analytical community, modern data and analytics technology, and engaged stakeholders. A key part of this analytical community is the new SNEE Intelligence Function. This is an analytical collaborative, with representatives from organisations across health, care and the VCSE who will work together to provide actionable insights from data that links information on health, care and the wider determinants of health. Suffolk County Council is hosting the ‘hub’ team of Intelligence Function analysts on behalf of the SNEE ICS, and is working with ICS partners to use new data and insights to support the improvement of health outcomes and the reduction of health inequalities.
Your role and responsibilities
You will work with health and care partners to guide and support evaluation projects, manage discrete evaluation analyses, and work with wider analytical teams in system partners to evidence the case for change across matters of strategic and / or operational interest. This will include provision of expert advice on evaluation standards and ethics, help develop prioritisation criteria and evaluate funding proposals, help project leads embed evaluation logic into proposals, offer expertise on the broad range of measures that can be used to assess impact, advise on the level of evaluation needed, ensure learning informs future decisions, and coordinate evaluation training.
You will have experience and technical expertise in evaluation analyses, across a breadth of evaluation projects, including needs assessments, process evaluations, and impact evaluation. You will be motivated by solving problems through analysis and will be able to combine quantitative and qualitative insights to deliver advice to senior decision makers. You are likely to have considerable experience in the evaluation of health and care interventions and will be able to apply this experience to the work of the SNEE ICS. You will also play a significant role in our work to realise the full potential of population health management data and may also have health economics experience you can apply.
You can view a full list of requirements in the Job and Person Profile (docx). If you think you have what it takes to be successful in this role, even if you do not meet all the requirements, please apply. We would appreciate the opportunity to consider your application.
