About the Role:
As the Business Development Manager you will be developing the sales portfolio of Invision brands across a UK territory (Western Home Counties and London), working with these new and existing customers, implementing key activities to achieve objectives, with a focus on selling the complete range of Invision product lines.
As this role is field based, the Business Development Manager is required to regularly travel throughout their designated area to visit customer sites and group offices.
What you will be doing in this role:
- Actively promote and demonstrates Invision products/brands, guiding and influencing Custom Integrators buying decisions
- Generate, identify and qualify opportunities within target customers
- Develop and implement effective strategies to meet and exceed targets
- Profile new and strategic customers and partners in collaboration with the internal sales/business development team
- Build and maintain an accurate forecast of projects within D365
- Regular reporting to include
o Details of customer visits, including contacts, opportunities, budgets, timescales, competition and preferred supplier partners
o Communication of concise customer/market intelligence to senior management and the wider sales team
What you will bring to the role:
- Experience of working at a strategic level
- Experience of working in AV
- Proven success in business development / strategic account management / Sales
- Good working knowledge of Office 365
- Valid Driving License
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills, including the ability to push back and negotiate at this level
