The Surbitonian is a family owned business located in Surbiton. We are moments away from opening our second store, The Surbitonian Vine, a wine bar located just a short distance from Surbiton train station.

At The Surbitonian focus on creating high quality products and beverages to the local community doing so in a personable and friendly way.

The Surbitonian Vine offers a range of hand-selected wines, a fantastic cocktail menu and a selection of draught products. Additionally, we will be continuing to offer delicious coffee and food products in this new store. We are excited to recruit some fresh new faces and talent to join our team!

Although no previous experience is necessarily required, it is useful to have experience working in customer service. The ideal candidate for this role will have had experience working in a dynamic and fast paced work environment, being confident with multi-tasking and have clear communication skills and a love for customer-service. It is important to be comfortable and enjoy working in a demanding environment and a keen interest in high-quality beverage and food products.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering excellent customer service.
• Creating high quality beverages and food items, accurately and quickly.
• Maintaining a clean and organised store environment.
• Developing an expansive knowledge of food and beverage products.
• Clear and concise communication skills both written and verbal.
• Following store policies and procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 8-40 per week

Salary: £9.50-£13.50 per hour

• Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
